— Memphis rapper Xavier Wulf drops a gripping new music video for “First Light” off of his recently released project, Blood Shore Season 3.
Leading the vanguard of the Memphis underground — and arguably the underground scene as a whole — Xavier Wulf is always on the move. Over the weekend Xavier dropped a new video for his song, “First Light.”
Produced by Hitkidd, the hard-hitting single is heavily influenced by classic Memphis Hip-Hop production while serving up a refreshing jolt of new energy. Still, while the single itself is entertaining enough, it is matched by a music video that goes equally as hard.
The music video, directed by buzzing director DotComNirvan, finds Wulf pulling a katana out of his trunk to face a series of nameless opps, cutting between foggy, blood-red scenes and anime-inspired visuals — courtesy of visual artist @LeesGotAsthma.
“First Light” is a highlight from Xavier Wulf’s most recent project, Blood Shore Season 3 which dropped back in September via Hollow Squad / EMPIRE.
