— Eritrean born, Amsterdam based singer/songwriter, RIMON, shares a brand new single called “Make Money” featuring Mereba.
This joyful anthem, “Make Money,” captures the essence of her debut album — coming this year and tells children of immigrants and refugees to live life to the fullest as they sing “make money and i go spend it”. This is a reminder to not be engulfed by the responsibilities passed on to them from a young age and to now create wealth that can last for generations.
Before this, RIMON shared masterful records with visuals to match like “City’s Burning” where flexing beautifully vengeful vocals as she confronts a relationship head on, “Flowers”, a ballad with an outpour of appreciation and gratitude dedicated to loved ones and underappreciated people, and “Can’t Forget” featuring Kelz2busy, which surpassed half a million streams upon release.
RIMON was named Hits Magazine‘s Artist to Watch and earned a spot on the 2023 Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list. She covered Notion and Linda Meiden / L’Officiel, has been featured in Uproxx, BET, BASIC, V Mag, Hypebae, Rolling Stone, Vogue UK, i-D, Pitchfork, and was named to HotNewHipHop‘s Next Gen list. She went on both the European and North American legs of Giveon’s Give or Take tour, performed Colors twice, and earned cosigns from Denzel Curry, EARTHGANG, Pharrell, and Jorja Smith to name a few.
Coming up she will be performing the coveted Pitchfork Festival in Paris and sharing the video to “Make Money” soon.
