— TDE artist Ab-Soul announced Soul Burger, his first project since 2022’s acclaimed Herbert, earlier this month, and today he’s back with “Crazier” featuring JID, the final single from the project.

The Kal Banx-produced track delivers a chef-d’oeuvre of lyricism, with the Atlanta rapper bringing a remarkable rapid-fire cadence to the Carson City native’s cerebral flow. The song follows “All That” featuring Jason Martin (formerly known as Problem) and Thirsty P, as well as “Squeeze 1st 2.”

With Soul Burger, Ab-Soul pays tribute to his childhood best friend, Doe Burger, who passed away in 2021. Doe always encouraged him to create more upbeat music for fans to dance to at shows, so this project is both an homage to him and a reflection of the music he inspired Soul to make. Throughout the mixtape, Doe serves as a narrator, urging Soul to persevere despite his challenges.
