— Following his May 2021 single, “Bigger Pictures”, GrapeSoda Henderson is back with a brand new EP titled, “I Love Grape”.
Since the release of his first official EP, Late Night Breakfast Dinners, in May of 2020, Grapesoda Henderson has been relatively quiet. Aside from 2 singles (“Take Me” feat. Yae and WLD CRD and “Bigger Pictures” feat. Dre Myers), the West Georgia native has primarily been in the lab. Lucky for us, that time was well spent as Grapesoda Henderson has now returned in rare form with another stellar project.
I Love Grape, to say the very least, is a work of art from beginning to end. For starters, the production, solely handled by North Carolina producer Kaleem Beats, goes unmatched. While relying heavily on samples, Kaleem Beats put together a complete range of soulful backings infused with hypnotic drum patterns, setting the tone for Grapesoda Henderson and his signature “Mack-style” delivery.
Lyrically, Grapesoda Hernderson came and did exactly what he was supposed to do — kick some incredibly player shit over some velvety smooth beats — only this time, elevating even further. With even grander production, potent bars, and phenomenal guest verses from Billy Vetti, Joey PopOff, Lord Bisque, and Curtis Dro, it’s beyond safe to say that I Love Grape is a project worth vibing to all summer long.
